Illuminating People From the Inside Out

Some professional titles make you smile because they say so much about the person who holds them. Tony Martignetti’s — Chief Illumination Officer of Inspired Purpose Partners — is one of those.

Tony is a leadership advisor and author of Campfire Lessons for Leaders: How Uncovering Our Past Can Propel Us Forward. In his podcast “The Virtual Campfire”, Tony’s guests share how their past propelled them forward to transformation.

True to his title, in this interview he demonstrates how he brings illumination to other people, helping them shine the light within themselves and outwardly.

One of my favorite moves is to work with people on this thing called the, Illuminating Cube.  And that is, a three-dimensional object that we create together, which basically has people thinking about the different dimensions, the different identities that they’ve held.

And I have them draw out different aspects of, you know, what does it look like? What is that icon or that artifact that embodies that dimension?

And then they assemble it into a cube that we put a little light inside. And that it’s something that can remind them that, hey, I’m not one dimensional. I’m multidimensional.

And that multidimensional self is is what I wanna make sure I’m tapping into when I feel like I have my world has gone flat, or I feel like I’m not showing up in full.

And so that little reminder, that they create themselves, they can turn the light on inside and it just helps them to see themselves in full.
